Visiting Artists
Each year, the Visual Arts Department brings noted artists to campus.

Hands On Experience
Visiting artists teach students through demonstrations and shared experiences, elevating their knowledge, insight, and skills and adding an invaluable dimension to the Visual Arts pedagogy. Visiting artists also may engage with students, faculty, and the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ community through public talks, exhibitions, classroom visits and critiques, workshops, shared meals, and more.
Faculty invite well-known artists to exhibit their work on campus. In addition to presenting their work, artists may teach students and expose them to new art techniques and concepts. These opportunities are often hands-on; students may create artwork with support from visiting artists.
