Special Topics
At the 3000-level, our Visual Arts curriculum shifts from media-based courses to theme-based courses in a range of special topics that include Abstraction; Art and Time; Art, Science, and the Environment; Installation Art; Narrative Structures; and Site-Specifics. In addition to building a meaningful engagement and understanding of each topic, these courses encourage the ability to initiate, sustain, and follow through on self-directed creative projects.
